Join us on the Oakdale Trail system in Lapeer, MI for our 6th annual fundraising event which includes single-track mountain bike racing, 5k cross-country running racing, a new 5k cross-country ruck race, youth racing, craft beer tent, food vendors and much more!

Event Details
The Beaver Dash Bash utilizes the Oakdale Trails, built by TrailSense, and feature 4 timed race events to challenge riders and runners of all abilities.

The 11 Mile MTB Single-Track Race

The 22 Mile MTB Single-Track Race

The 5k Cross-Country Running Race

*NEW* The 5k Cross-Country Ruck Race

And… for those of you who really want to test your skills and endurance, make it a dual event by choosing to race in both the MTB Singletrack Race and the Cross-Country Running Race or Ruck!
​
We also have some niche cycling categories including;

Class 1 E-Bike Category for the 12-Mile MTB Singletrack Race.

*NEW* Fat Tire Bike Category for the 12-Mile MTB Singletrack Race.
-
*NEW* Single Speed Category for the 23-Mile MTB Singletrack Race.
-
*NEW* Elite Open Bike Category for the 23-Mile MTB Singletrack Race.

The Cross-Country Running & Ruck Race will start at 8:45 am East of the Registration Pavilion followed by the MTB Single-Track Race starting at 10:45 am (wave start times TBD).
​
These events will be timed by Newton Timing & Race Services.
​
Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place MTB Race finishers from each timed category -and- an overall Male & Female for both the 5k run and ruck Races after their respective events. Youth Race participants will get a participation medal. Ruck participants will get a patch.

Bring the whole family and enjoy all day racing with an outdoor expo, food trucks, and craft beverages. Oakdale Trails are part of CRAMBA.

Event Cause
All proceeds generated from the Beaver Dash Bash will be designated for use by the Friends of Oakdale Trails, an all volunteer group of local outdoor recreation advocates and trail stewards. The Friends of Oakdale Trails are dedicated to providing access, maintenance, and improvements to this remarkable local resource. All event profits will fund future trail maintenance, improvements and enhancements.
